About Us
INTEK Construction Products was founded in 1995 to fill the need for a technical sales agency serving the building design community and construction markets. We employ consultative selling in our approach to the architectural and engineering community in the design phases of a project to insure that our principals’ products are properly specified. Projects are tracked electronically to insure that quotations are prepared and contracts negotiated with the successful contractors.
INTEK prides itself on providing jobsite technical service to insure successful product installation as well as educating the installer so that any material cost and labor savings of our products is actually realized by the contractor.
Beyond being known for our in-depth product knowledge and technical expertise, INTEK has earned a reputation in the regulatory and inspection communities because of our intimate knowledge and understanding of the building codes that govern the use of our products. As a result, INTEK has been authorized as a training agency by the Ohio Board of Building Standards and regularly provides AIA and OBBS continuing education credit to the design and inspection communities. INTEK has received various commissions to prepare design standards for private and institutional clients in the healthcare and chemical process industries.
