Firespan® Curtain Wall Insulation

The codes have changed and whenever Perimeter Fire Barriers are required at the floor slab edge UL Classified Firespan Curtain Wall insulation is required. Firespan is a mineral-wool-type insulation that resists temperatures up to 2,000 ºF, thus offering superior fire protection in rated curtain wall assemblies. These products are noncombustible per Standard NFPA 220 and tested according to ASTM E 136.
